Social Media Ap: Food and Wine Contest

Liberty Travel and Walt Disney World Resorts united together to promote a contest to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in 2013. In less than 2 days I developed a logo/headline and created a high fidelity prototype for this interactive contest. This was Liberty Travel’s first interactive contest in which the participants could select his/her own itinerary and learn more about the different resorts.

For the logo/headline, I wanted to keep the look fun, simple, yet sophisticated. Usually, Disney is promoted as a family attraction, but since this contest was gear to attract adults, I wanted to make sure it felt like Disney with a little class. I illustrated a wine bottle with a fork in the middle to in the “i” for WIN to represent the what the contest was for.  

For the contest widget, I first sketched out my idea  and mocked a rough wire-frame. Then developed a high fidelity prototype creating the overall look and feel of the contest and flow of the pages.
